Welcome to The Whistler Sliding Centre in the beautiful Fitzsimmons valley on the southeast slope of Blackcomb Mountain. The Whistler Sliding Centre is the site of the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

This high performance, world-class sliding sports venue includes a 1,450 metre long competition track, as well as venue support buildings.

The 2010 Olympic Winter Games were a great success!

Congratulations to all athletes, team officials, volunteers and Olympic supporters on a job well done!  The Whistler Sliding Centre hosted 150 bobsleigh and 48 skeleton athletes from 23 nations and 110 luge athletes from 26 nations.  A total of over 2500 runs were taken by athletes during official training and competition.  Great job everyone!  Congratulations to our sliding Olympic medalists!
