BC Sliding Development Centre

The BC Sliding Development Centre offers programs for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge, from introductory sessions for beginners to full-season training programs. Qualified and passionate coaches look after everyone, from first-timers to experienced athletes!

The Centre’s goals are to:

  • Grow sliding sports in Western Canada
  • Provide year-round coaching to provincial athletes
  • Outline a clear development pathway for athletes and parents
  • Offer structured programs to send more BC athletes into the national team programs.

The BC Sliding Development Centre was formed in 2017 by the Whistler Sliding Centre in cooperation with the BC Luge Association and the BC Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association.
