The Whistler Sliding Centre has two operating periods: summer (June through August) and winter (October through March). In the summer, the venue is open for public tour programs, facility rental and special events. The public tour program gives visitors the opportunity to see this Olympic venue and learn about the sports of bobsleigh, luge and skeleton that took place during the 2010 Winter Games.
The track is used for both domestic and international high-performance sport competition and training during the winter. Exciting times are ahead for sliding sport development for club and school youth programming and for local community residents.
