Passionate about Snow? Come Volunteer at Whistler Olympic Park!

If you like Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, or just enjoy being outdoors, please read on as we are once again recruiting Whistler Olympic Park Volunteer Ambassadors for the 2016-17 season. Contribute to our local Sea to Sky Nordic Community and the unique Whistler Olympic Park guest experience. Come volunteer with us!

Volunteer Ambassadors are enthusiastic, energetic and committed to assist Whistler Olympic Park throughout the winter season with a variety of operational, instructional and safety tasks aligned to our mission to Grow Sport. Volunteer Roles include (click on role titles for more information and to apply):

A seasonal commitment of 40 hours (i.e. 10 x 4 hr shifts) is expected, from the start until the end of the Nordic season, mid December to end of March.

Volunteer Ambassador Appreciation

Bobsleigh/Skeleton and Luge World Cup Volunteers, December 2016

Passionate about adrenaline fueled sports? Love being close to the action? Come Volunteer at the Whistler Sliding Center!

The Whistler Sliding Centre is hosting two international World Cup weekends in December, featuring the world's best athletes in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge. These events would not be possible without passionate volunteers. Be part of the action, join us today!

We are currently looking for volunteers for:

  • BMW IBSF World Cup Bob & Skeleton 2016, December 2 & 3, 2016
  • Viessmann Luge World Cup & Viessmann Team Relay World Cup 2016, December 9 & 10, 2016

Volunteer positions for both competitions include:

  • VIP Host – Greeting our VIP guests upon arrival and ensuring that they have the best experience possible. 
  • Spectator Hosts – Providing front line information and guidance for our valued spectators. 
  • Access Control – Responsible for checking accreditations at various points within the venue
  • Officials Assistant – Helping officials at the start docks and finish area
  • Doping Chaperon – Assisting with doping protocol.
