Job Location: Whistler Sliding Centre

Whistler Olympic Park has a history of glory and gold - one-third of all medals at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games were awarded here.
Ski Patrol ensures the safety of all users of Whistler Olympic Park (WOP).  Duties include responding to all first aid requirements in a professional and timely manner.  First Aid Attendant duties include carrying out general site maintenance, first aid response, building maintenance, trail maintenance, landscaping, capital projects work, assisting summer activity staff, custodial work, and event support.  This temporary full time dual role has varied shifts including flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

The Guest Activity Rep, Summer creates the experience for our guests at Whistler Olympic Park.  The guest experience is enhanced by their ability to share information, educate, and engage.  Excellent customer service, a high level of product knowledge, and great interpretive and interpersonal skills are required for this position.  In addition, this role endeavors to maximize sales, drive business to target products, forward customer feedback to their Supervisor, and maintains a safe and clean environment.  Casual and Temporary Full Time roles require ability to work holidays and weekends.

The Whistler Sliding Centre is home to the fastest ice track in the world. Since hosting the bobsleigh, skeleton and luge competitions during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Whistler Sliding Centre continues to challenge the sports’ most elite athletes with international competitions, recruiting camps, and ongoing youth programs. Visitors are invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility, or experience the action first-hand with passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and skeleton rides (winter only) down part of the 1,450 meter-long ice track. 
Shuttle Bus Driver / Guest Service Host, Summer is the first point of contact with guests of the Whistler Sliding Centre.  Shuttle Bus Driver responsibilities include safe pick-up and delivery of guests within the venue while providing excellent customer service.  This varied Guest Service Host position rotates through all roles associated with the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program.  This temporary full time role requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

The Administrative Coordinator supports the Whistler Olympic Park management team.  Reporting to the Managing Director, WOP this role works co-operatively with all WSL departments ensuring seamless information flow and quality service delivery.  Responsibilities include project support, operational procedures development, administration, quality assurance, and acts as lead on required operational and inter-departmental initiatives.  This Regular position has schedule flexibility as workload and seasonality dictates.

Whistler Sport Legacies is a multi-operational organization with flexible roles to changing demands within a sport delivery environment.  Reporting to the Managing Director of Whistler Sliding Centre, the Chief Engineer is responsible for operating and maintaining the Refrigeration Plant and building systems in compliance with the standards and laws set forth in the province of BC and in accordance with our mission, vision and values.  This regular, full time position requires flexibility with other activities or initiatives including working evenings and weekends as required.

Supervisor, Ski Patrol and Safety takes the lead in fulfilling Whistler Sport Legacies’ commitment to a superior standard of safety at Whistler Olympic Park.  Responsibilities include organizing the Whistler Olympic Park ski patrol department to ensure safety and incidence response for all users and compliance with all relevant legislation.  This is an evolving position and responsibilities may shift over time.  This Regular Full Time position will require flexibility to assist the team with other activities or initiatives and may require weekend or evening schedules.

Operations Worker, Summer involves the general site maintenance of the Whistler Olympic Park.  Duties include but are not limited to building maintenance, trail maintenance, landscaping, capital projects work, assisting summer activity staff, custodial work, and event support.  Seasonal casual roles require flexibility to work weekends and evenings. 

Job Location: Whistler Sliding Centre

The Guest Service Host, Summer is a varied position working in all roles associated with the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program at Whistler Sliding Centre.  Duties include rotating through all roles associated with the Summer Bobsleigh Experience program.  This temporary summer season role requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings - casual positions available.

Job Location: Whistler Athletes Centre

The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is a high performance training and accommodation facility for all levels of sport, educational groups, and art & culture organizations. Built for the athletes of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, competitors continue to utilize the Whistler Athletes’ Centre for short-and long-term lodging and dryland conditioning. As the headquarters for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, and the Whistler Campus for the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific, no other venue provides the level of accessibility and amenities for athletes like the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.
The Handyperson performs general preventative maintenance and repair duties for assigned buildings, furnishings, and equipment at Whistler Athletes’ Centre facilities.  Duties include painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, and related work, in addition to responding to guest related issues.  This Regular Full Time position frequently works independently during evenings and some days, providing coverage for the Manager, Facilities.

The Lodge Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness at the Whistler Athletes’ Centre including the Lodge, Townhomes and High Performance Centre. This role is organized and friendly and works well within a team while demonstrating the Whistler Sport Legacies’ philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  Regular and Temporary roles available that require flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

The Whistler Athletes’ Centre is a high performance training and accommodation facility for all levels of sport, educational groups, and art & culture organizations. Built for the athletes of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, competitors continue to utilize the Whistler Athletes’ Centre for short-and long-term lodging and dryland conditioning. As the headquarters for the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program, and the Whistler Campus for the Canadian Sport Institute-Pacific, no other venue provides the level of accessibility and amenities for athletes like the Whistler Athletes’ Centre.
The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing a high level of guest service. Duties will include guest check-in/out, issue resolution, cash handling, daily reporting, general sales support and guest services on all aspects of the resort while maintaining the philosophy that All Interactions Matter (AIM).  Regular and Temporary roles available that require flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
